Lindsey Spencer is a teacher candidate at OISE, where she is studying to be a high school biology and business teacher. After completing a BA in science and business from the University of Waterloo, she became interested in sustainable international development. Lindsey then worked alongside many non-profit international organizations, including World Vision, Th e Leprosy Mission, and Ten Thousand Villages, and decided that teaching would be the best way to effect change in the world. She believes that an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach is critical to solving the most pressing global issues.
